PFAS "forever chemicals" lawsuits

What the PFAS lawsuits claim

PFAS are long-lasting man-made chemicals often called "forever chemicals". Lawsuits have been brought by people exposed through contaminated drinking water and by firefighters and military personnel who used firefighting foam (AFFF). They say the manufacturers knew the chemicals built up in the body and were linked to serious illness, including kidney cancer, testicular cancer, thyroid disease, ulcerative colitis and immune system damage.

Who may be able to take part

• You lived or worked where the water supply was found to contain PFAS
• You used or were around AFFF firefighting foam, including on a military base
• You were later diagnosed with one of the illnesses linked to PFAS exposure
